Three gondolas crossing the Canal Grande... this was taken by my friend Federica from Rialto bridge.

Torcello island is one of the quietest in the lagoon. There are two medieval churches and a bunch of tiny houses, surrounded by bushes, fields and waters.

Canal Grande is really special at sunset, when you can admire lights reflecting on water.

In Burano there are no gondolas but boats "parked" outside the houses like cars!
